On Caravaggio's footsteps
What about this tour?
After four hundred years after his death, Caravaggio is still considered of the greatest Italian artists. His fine and modern sensitivity to represent nature clashes with his dissolute life spent through taverns, brawls, and brothels during his years in Rome. The area around piazza Navona is still rich in memories connected to the life of the artists: this walk between sacred and profane will bring us to discover some of his most famous paintings as well as the sites where he used to spend his animated life.
